In preparation for our 4th Annual Swing with Heart Golf Tournament, WomenHeart Vice-Chair of the Board, Barbara Tombros, was featured on a regional golf podcast, Golf DMV. Barbara joined the show to raise awareness of heart disease in women, and highlight the event.
This year’s event, held at the Belmont Country Club in Ashburn, VA, includes 9 holes of golf on the course, a silent auction, a cocktail reception, and buffet dinner. The event will also host WomenHeart Champions to share their heart stories and advocate for the advancement of women’s heart health. All proceeds go to supporting WomenHeart and its mission to providing patient support and education for women nationwide currently living with heart disease.
