Joanna Markle brings more than 30 years of experience in education, workforce development, grant management, and program administration to her role as Manager, Projects and Deliverables at WomenHeart. Throughout her career, she has developed programs, built collaborative partnerships, and coordinated initiatives that connect people with opportunities, resources, and support. She brings this experience to WomenHeart with a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives through education, collaboration, and mission-driven work. A WomenHeart Champion since 2025, Joanna is personally committed to advancing awareness of women’s heart health and advocating for women affected by heart disease. She is passionate about helping ensure that women feel heard, informed, and supported throughout their heart health journeys. Based in Pennsylvania, Joanna enjoys an active lifestyle, spending time with family, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors. When visiting new places, she is always happy to discover a good bookstore or a welcoming café.
