Dr. Dave Prakash focuses on artificial intelligence for healthcare and defense as an executive advisor to Booz Allen Hamilton. Previously, Dave worked on AI solutions for a tech company and a healthcare payor. His roles spanned product development, clinical validation, enterprise sales, and government affairs.
Originally trained as a doctor, Dave resigned from his anesthesiology career to join the military as a pilot after 9/11. He served 12 years on active duty to become an operational test pilot, and also a flight surgeon.
Dave left the military with a scholarship from the Pat Tillman Foundation to attend Stanford University where he studied business management and public policy. Today, Dave also advises startups and was recently appointed by the governor of Virginia to serve on the committee for renal disease as a living kidney donor.
