Dr. Demilade Adedinsewo (Day‑Mee‑LAH‑day Ah‑DAY‑deen‑SHAY‑woe) is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and non‑invasive cardiologist at Mayo Clinic in Florida, specializing in women’s heart health and echocardiography. Her research applies digital innovation and artificial intelligence to improve cardiovascular care for women and expand equitable access to cardiac diagnostics for underserved populations globally. She is currently a Mayo Clinic Florida Women’s Health Scholar and collaborates with Mayo’s Digital Innovation Lab to develop and evaluate ECG‑based AI algorithms. Dr. Adedinsewo completed additional training in machine learning and AI through MIT’s Professional Certificate Program and recently led a multi‑site, international clinical trial translating an AI‑enabled tool for maternal cardiovascular screening from design to implementation. Her work has been published in leading journals, including Nature Medicine, Circulation, and JACC. Clinically and scientifically, she integrates patient‑centered care with data science and implementation science to bring validated digital tools to the bedside and into community care settings.
