Share |

The honeydew melon is a sweet fleshy fruit grown around the world. The rind is usually greenish to yellow and the flesh is pale green. Honeydew melons are picked when they reach maturity. Immature honeydew melons are greenish white and mature honeydew melons are creamy yellow. Good quality honeydew melons are spherical with minimal scarring. The rind is a waxing texture. As with other fruits, honeydew melons are a good source of vitamin C.
