HeartScarves Kit

Created in 2005 by women heart disease survivors, the HeartScarves program delivers handmade, red scarves to women undergoing cardiac procedures. Symbolizing the lifelines of caring and support that exists among us, each red scarf is meant to offer comfort, support, and encouragement for a woman with heart disease and become a part of her healing journey.

The HeartScarves kit contains everything needed to knit or crochet a beautiful handmade scarf - a symbol of care and support for a woman with heart disease: an enclosed pattern for the scarf to knit or crochet; a personalized note card to accompany your scarf when it is delivered to a heart sister; heart health information from WomenHeart; and, the mailing instructions to send the scarf to the WomenHeart distribution center.
