Hello, this is my first time reaching out to anyone other than those who have been convinced my pain is in my head. Before I read about Women Heart on CNN today I didn't know there were other women out there that feel locked away, isolated because no one believes them. I have learned to suffer quietly. I've stopped going to emergency rooms, the first time I went to the one in my area the doctor had the nurses google what PrinzMetal Angina was. My cardiologist walks in ask me if I'm taking my meds shakes my hand and says he'll be right back. That's the last I see him I'm ushered out to make an appointment. He has my daughter convinced the pain in my chest and symptoms are mental. Well I'm seeing a psychologist and she said maybe I need to find a cardiologist who will talk to me instead of just shaking my hand. I realize that he has to keep me on all these meds in case I do have heart failure of some kind. I'm about to give up on all these meds and this doctor. What else can I do?
