Day raises high blood pressure awareness, detection and control

WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease participated in Measure Up/Pressure Down®’s National Day of Action: Roll Up Your Sleeves! event by offering its employees free blood pressure screenings and a presentation on blood pressure management.

Medical groups, health systems, sponsors, and partners across the nation took at least one "action" in their local community to raise awareness of high blood pressure to patients, providers, employees, or the general public. The Measure Up/Pressure Down® National Day of Action: Roll Up Your Sleeves! was held in conjunction with National High Blood Pressure Education Month, recognized annually in May.
