 WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease co-hosts turnkey meeting

Congressional staff, patient groups and researchers discuss clinical trials enrollment challenges 

 

Quintiles today welcomed congressional staff from the offices of Senators Richard Burr and Thom Tillis, and Representative G.K. Butterfield, Renee Ellmers and David Price and at its global headquarters to celebrate national Clinical Trials Awareness Week. Congressional staff learned about patient recruitment challenges, viewed Quintiles technology solutions and participated in a discussion of how greater public awareness could boost clinical trials enrollment and provide more treatment options for patients.
