WomenHeart Partners with Count Me Healthy Jewelry on Helping Hearts Bracelet
Washington, DC. – WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease, the nation's only patient advocacy organization solely dedicated to supporting the 41 million Americans living with or at risk for heart disease, has partnered with Count Me Healthy, the beautiful jewelry line devoted to helping women keep track of their life-goals, to create a new bracelet, Helping Hearts, which encourages women to track heart-related health goals.
The premise behind Count Me Healthy Jewelry is simple – women select a health goal and assign a counting value to each bead. For example, women tracking glasses of water can count each bead as one glass or bottle. As each glass is consumed, the wearer slides a bead from one side of the bracelet to the other.
Women can use the Helping Hearts bracelet to monitor other wellness goals associated with heart disease prevention, such as eating more heart-healthy super foods, like fruits and vegetables, and increasing weekly exercise. It also can be used to reduce cigarettes while quitting, caffeinated beverages and sweets.
The Count Me Healthy Helping Hearts bracelet is handcrafted with sterling silver "heart-etched" beads and designed to compliment anything from denim to a cocktail dress. The patented jump-ring system prevents beads from slipping from one side to the other, ensuring that counts are always accurate.
The Helping Hearts bracelet is available to order on both the Count Me Healthy web site www.countmehealthyjewelry.com and WomenHeart web site www.womenheart.org for $88. Twenty five percent of the sale price of every bracelet sold will directly benefit the educational, advocacy and support work of WomenHeart.
"Count Me Healthy is proud to offer the special edition Helping Hearts bracelet with WomenHeart," said Chelsea Gossett, Count Me Healthy Designer. "Women are the caretakers of the family, but many seem to put their own well-being last. Their personal health needs to be priority. Reducing heart disease starts with making daily, positive changes and we hope Helping Hearts wearers will use this bracelet to keep their wellness goals top-of-mind despite their hectic schedules."
"Count Me Healthy jewelry is a beautiful way to educate women about heart healthy behaviors and to celebrate living a heart healthy life," said Lisa M. Tate, Chief Executive Officer of WomenHeart.
