Programs for the 2016 Program Year

 

Meetings are held at both 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to accommodate your schedule. The meetings will take place at James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in the Meditation Room unless otherwise indicated. The meetings are open to ALL women who have heart disease and present a safe place to exchange information and support. The meetings serve as an educational forum about heart disease and its treatment. We DO NOT give medical advice.

 

March 8, 2016: Kick off meeting!  International Women’s Day!

April 12, 2016: “Empowering Women to Take Charge of their Heart Health”

May 10,2016: National Stroke Awareness Month! Atrial Fibrillation and Stroke Risk.

June 14, 2016: Special Guest

July 12, 2016: Summer Casual

August: Summer Break

September 13, 2016: Stress Management

October 11, 2016: Heart Failure : What women need to know

November 15, 2016: Eating Heart Healthy during the Holidays (and HOLIDAY PARTY)

            -Special Treats will be served with recipes easy for everyone to make and enjoy!

December: Holiday Break
