Support Networks
Led by trained patient volunteers, WomenHeart’s local support groups meet monthly to provide women living with heart disease critical peer-to-peer support, information and encouragement. Please note, the majority of our support network meetings are conducted in English. Visit the

From our WomenHeart Champions:
Welcome! My name is Myra Robin and I am a WomenHeart Champion and the Mid South District Community Leader for WomenHeart Support Networks in Arkansas, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Louisiana. In 2009, I suffered a massive heart attack that left my heart with permanent, irreversible damage. I have since been diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, Cardiomyopathy, Coronary Artery Disease, Atrial Fibrillation and Left Ventricular Dysfunction. Being a WomenHeart Champion has allowed me to pursue a passion that lies within me and that is to encourage other women living with heart disease so they can live a productive and positive life. I am committed to delivering the message, 'Do not let heart disease dictate who you are, nor who you can become!'
