Combine 1 cup orange juice, ¼ cup apple juice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1
teaspoon nutmeg. Peel the pears leaving the stem intact. Remove the core from
the bottom of the pear. Place pears in a shallow pan. Add juice mixture and set
on medium heat. Simmer for approximately 30 minutes turning the pears
frequently (do not boil). Transfer pears to serving plates and garnish with ½
cup fresh strawberries and 2 tablespoons orange zest.
