The Symposium training will help you develop an action plan for your group and WomenHeart will provide you with resources for running your group. Tell us about the connections you have in your community and describe how you will leverage these to strengthen your support network (i.e. cardiologists, cardiac rehab nurses, health ministries, community organizations, etc.).

1. A letter of recommendation from your cardiologist or cardiac nurse explaining what makes you an ideal candidate to establish and lead a Support Network for women heart patients? This letter should describe how they will support your plan to start a network at either the professional medical facility/hospital. And finally, there should be a paragraph approving your health status for travel and participation in the Symposium.

2. A letter from a coworker, community leader or volunteer colleague explaining what makes you an ideal candidate to attend the Symposium and become a WomenHeart Champion/ WomenHeart Support Network Coordinator.
