• You should open the event with a few words about Women and Heart Disease and WomenHeart. Consider showing the WomenHeart DVD.

• Have a woman from your support group, a WomenHeart spokesperson, or yourself tell their story.

• Have a cardiologist or cardiac nurse or other health care professional talk about "Heart Disease in Women 101".

• Make sure either you or the health care professionals talk about risk factors and prevention.

• Open up a question and answer period.
