Meet Kathy Webster, Board Chair

Kathy Webster 

Kathy Webster, a WomenHeart Science & Leadership Symposium graduate of 2006, is WomenHeart's Chair of the Board of Directors.

Prior to taking on this role, Kathy served on the Board of Directors between 2011 and 2014. Kathy served as the District Leader for WomenHeart support groups in Missouri and Kansas.

Kathy speaks to women about heart disease at health fairs and other locations. She also shares what she knows and has experienced in interviews with the news media.

For several years, Kathy attended WomenHeart's Advocacy Institute, which positioned her to support women living with heart disease by informing members of Congress about women's health issues.

Kathy, a retired officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, serves on the Women's Heart Health Advisory Council at the University of Kansas Hospital, as well as the Alumni Board of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
